BREWER — Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center will kick off this year’s Champion the Cure Challenge with cycle, run, and walk events on Saturday, Aug. 16. Cancer survivors, family, friends and caregivers touched by cancer will come together at Northern Light Cancer Care’s Lafayette Family Cancer Institute in Brewer to raise critical funds that support cancer treatment and research.
Champion the Cure Challenge shines as a beacon of hope to those living with cancer, as every dollar raised stays local to enhance care provided to patients in the region.
Champion the Cure Challenge 2025 honorees will be recognized during the send off celebration at 8:40 a.m. with the largest participant group kicking off at 9 a.m.
