ROCKPORT — University of Maine Cooperative Extension and the Maine New Farmers Project will host “Using Tech to Grow Sales on the Mid-Coast” on Friday, Aug. 8, from 10 a.m. to noon at Tenderwild Farm, 33 Gurney St. in Rockport. A rain date is scheduled for Aug. 15.
The event includes a farm tour with owner Peter Alsop and a discussion with Business Manager Rory Keohane on the farm’s use of smart technology to improve operational efficiency and expand market access. Participants will learn about tools and workflows that support e-commerce, home delivery, fulfillment processes, and integration across multiple sales channels, including farm stores, farmers markets and online platforms.
