Brooklyn Beckham’s parents, David and Victoria Beckham, were not in attendance when their 26-year-old son and his wife, Nicola Peltz, renewed their vows, Us Weekly can confirm.
A source close to Brooklyn and Peltz, 30, confirmed to Us on Saturday, August 2, that pair had a ceremony “to celebrate their love and commitment and to create a meaningful memory together.”
The couple’s feud with Brooklyn’s family — including David, 50, Victoria, 51, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 20, and Harper, 14 — first made headlines after the duo missed his father’s birthday party in March.
“David and Victoria are over it,” a source exclusively told Us Weekly in May. “They’ve thrown in the towel over the whole thing.”

While the insider claimed Brooklyn and Peltz want “special treatment” from his parents, David and Victoria prefer to “treat everyone the same and approach life like a family.”
According to a second source, “bad blood” between Victoria and Peltz has persisted since before the actress tied the knot with Brooklyn in April 2022.
“Things never really got smoothed over, and you can tell it still affects everyone,” the insider shared in May. “The tension is still present and it’s hard for Brooklyn at times. Brooklyn’s having a tough time with it. He’s super stubborn and just wants space from his family right now.” (There was also reported drama between Victoria and Nicola over a dance at the 2022 nuptials.)
Amid the drama, Brooklyn “completely supports and stands by Nicola,” which has “made things even more tense between him and his parents.”

The source further claimed that Brooklyn has attempted to “mend” the situation with David and Victoria, but they “aren’t understanding of his side of the story.”
Later that month, a third insider told Us that Brooklyn’s parents “feel betrayed” amid the tension with their eldest son, though they still had “a desire to mend” the fracture.
However, a fourth source revealed in June that David and Victoria — who have been married since July 1999 — “went from being sad and devastated to now accepting it and realizing there is nothing they can do” about their lack of communication with Brooklyn.
“They are done speaking about it,” the insider added. “They view it as the way it is now. The ball is in Brooklyn’s court if he wants to make up.”
Despite their discouragement, a fifth source insisted at the time that David and Victoria “do not see this situation as final and will never give up on their son and having a relationship with him because they love him so much, as do all the family.”
