
Two Mainers were injured Friday afternoon when their UTV rolled over in a New Hampshire gravel pit.
Niko Foti, 28, of Lebanon has been summonsed for operating an off-highway recreational vehicle to endanger, according to New Hampshire Fish and Game.
Foti was driving the UTV in the Berlin gravel pit about 3 p.m. when he accelerated while turning, causing the vehicle to drift and roll onto its side, New Hampshire Fish and Game said.
Foti and his passenger, 25-year-old Molly Ryder of Lisbon, were injured in the crash.
They were taken to Androscoggin Valley Hospital in Berlin for evaluation and treatment.
