Gia Giudice is hopeful she has an ally in Savannah Chrisley, whose efforts to get parents Todd and Julie Chrisley home from prison finally paid off.
“I would love to [speak with Savannah],” Gia, 24, told Us Weekly exclusively at iHeartRadio and Vrbo’s Pickleball Tournament in Lake Tahoe, California. “100 percent.”
Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, were officially pardoned by President Trump in May and released from prison after being convicted of bank and wire fraud, tax evasion and conspiracy. The couple began their sentences in January 2023, serving 28 months.
Gia’s father, Joe Giudice, meanwhile, was convicted on 39 counts of fraud in 2014 alongside her mother, Teresa Giudice. The now-exes served their sentences separately — Teresa was in prison for 11 months, while Joe spent 41 months behind bars — before their 2020 divorce. Joe, 53, was deported to his native Italy following his time in prison and currently lives in the Bahamas.

Gia told Us that her father was “in contact” with Savannah, 27, before Todd and Julie’s pardons. “After seeing that happen to their family, I think it was kind of inspiring for our family,” Gia added. “We do have a platform and use our voice and share our opinions and I think at this point, there’s no motive. At the end of the day, we want our dad home. It’s very simple. There’s no motive. There’s no strategic way of thinking [about] anything.”
Along with Gia, Joe and Teresa, 53, share daughters Gabriella, 21, Milania, 19, and Audriana, 15. Gia and her sisters hope their family will be reunited someday soon.
“All we hope for everyday is for our dad to come home one day. … If there’s a will, there’s a way. We’re just waiting for the day that maybe our wish will come true,” she told Us.
Earlier this month, Gia made waves when she shared an Instagram video with a plea for President Trump to help bring her father back to the U.S. “Watching the Chrisley family receive a second chance inspired me,” she said in the clip. “It showed me that people can be forgiven, that families could be restored and that sometimes the justice system has room for grace. That gave me hope. Hope that maybe my dad could come home too.”

Despite facing backlash over the upload — which happened to be posted on the 4th of July — Gia later asserted that she had no “intention” of being disrespectful or “strategic.”
“I woke up [and] knew I had to do something for my dad. That was the only thing on my mind, was my dad. So, I posted it, there was no motive behind anything,” she explained on iHeartRadio’s “Casual Chaos” podcast. “I really just wanted my dad to feel loved and feel loved by me and know that I always am supporting him and pushing for him and hoping for his return back home.”
While speaking to Us, Gia also noted that it doesn’t matter who’s responsible for pardoning Joe in the end — as long as he makes it home somehow.
“It doesn’t matter who’s in office, we’d be asking the same thing,” she told Us. “But because this person is in office and this amazing thing happened to the Chrisley family, obviously it gives our family hope. That’s it.”
