Rodeo Queen influencer Camila Trevisol died at age 22 after a battle with a rare form of bone cancer.
“We inform you that our princess has passed away this morning,” a caption, translated to English, read on Trevisol’s Wednesday, July 23, Instagram post. “We appreciate everyone’s support in this fight.”
Trevisol’s loved ones held a wake in her honor at a cemetery on July 23, where she requested attendees not to wear black.
She amassed more than 33,000 followers on Instagram, posting about her rodeo appearances in Brazil. Trevisol was honored as Rainha Inspiração, translated to “Inspiration Queen,” at the annual rodeo festival Festa do Peão de Americana in June. She also received the same title at 2024’s Jaguariúna Rodeo Festival.

Trevisol was first diagnosed with cancer in 2016, with doctors confirming she had malignant bone neoplasia in the femur, per People. The next year, she confirmed she was cancer-free. Years later, Trevisol shared that she was diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma.
The influencer shared an open letter to her Instagram account on Wednesday, after news broke of her death.
“I know it’s not an easy time, but I wrote this and asked to post it,” a translation to English read. “Everyone who came through my life left a moment that I will take with me forever, so I am very grateful to all of you who took the time out of your life to enjoy with me, to follow me on Instagram, to pray, to chat and everything else.”
She continued, “I have already fulfilled my role here on earth and I know that my role was to inspire and influence you about life, that you have to enjoy every moment regardless of what you are going through, life is only one and time is too precious not to know Appreciate every moment, so live and never give up, never think negative, never surrender.”

Trevisol noted that her Instagram account will remain on the social media platform for fans to remember her and “everything [she] lived through.”
“I love you all and thank you very much for being with me in this life and for everyone who visited me,” she concluded. “I want you to know that I am going in peace and my suffering is over, but don’t think that it was because I didn’t have the strength and courage to fight, but because I can’t suffer anymore. God wanted me with him and I know that my legacy will always be remembered… Until the next life, I love you.”
