A Wendy’s will be coming to Wilson Street in Brewer, according to the city.
The fast-food chain has an approved site plan to build a new restaurant at 450 Wilson St. across from the VIP Tires and Services, according to information in the city’s 2026 budget.
No current construction schedule or timeline has been shared with the city, according to Brewer City Planner Linda Johns.
The plans for the restaurant were submitted by Legacy Capital Partners, who already own 10 Wendy’s across Maine.
Legacy Capital Partners and Wendy’s did not respond to a request for comment.
The Brewer restaurant would be the 18th Wendy’s in Maine and the fourth in Greater Bangor.
