Post Malone’s ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, Hee Sung “Jamie” Park, dropped her legal battle against the musician after the exes reached a private deal over custody of their daughter, Us Weekly can report.

According to court documents obtained by Us, on Monday, July 21, Park dismissed the petition she filed against Malone (real name: Austin Post) in Los Angeles Superior Court regarding paternity and support.

“Entire action of all parties and all causes,” explained the request for dismissal.

The move comes days after an agreement over custody, parenting time, support and related matters was filed in a Utah court.

Malone, 30, filed a petition, which was sealed by the court, over paternity and support on April 14 in Utah. Park filed her suit two days later in California.

Park only identified their daughter with her initials in the paperwork, DDP. She said they lived with Malone until November 2024.

In her filing, she demanded full custody of their child but proposed that the musician have visitation. Park checked the box indicating she wanted to share legal custody.

Malone’s ex also asked that he cover her legal fees in the case.

Sources close to Malone told TMZ the child had been raised in Utah and believed she should continue to be around the same support system.

As part of his effort to dismiss Park’s case, Malone filed a declaration explaining the situation to the court.

He explained DDP, born in 2022, was his daughter. He said Park, who was from California, moved to Utah to live with him after they started dating in early 2022. He said it was around the time their baby was born.

Malone said they originally agreed to a “nesting” custody schedule where their daughter would live full-time in the home, but they would alternate time in the home with her.

In the declaration, Malone who said he’s been a resident of Utah since 2019, explained, “[Park] remained in Utah living with me from January 2022 until January of 2025. From January of 2022 until January of 2025, Jamie did not have a home or an apartment in California because she was living in Utah.”

The entertainer continued, “[Park] only recently moved to Los Angeles. In November or December of 2024, when it was clear that our relationship had ended, [Park] told me she wanted to move to Los Angeles.”

Malone said he had conversations with Park about her move. He said they agreed to continue to share custody of DDP, “using a two week alternating custody schedule.” The musician said he agreed to help Park with the move by paying for her property to be shipped and agreeing to be the guarantor on her apartment lease, which she moved into in January.

“I agreed to do so to maintain our co-parenting relationship in a peaceful and cooperative manner,” he told the court.

In his filing, the musician told the court DDP was born in L.A., but only because they wanted a certain doctor to deliver their daughter, and Park’s mom lives nearby. He denied the child ever lived in the state.

He said they returned to Utah months after their child was born, where they continued living for three years.

“DDP has a very strong bond with [the nanny]. [The nanny] lives in Utah,” Malone said as he argued to throw out Park’s case. He claimed she was enrolled in activities. Malone accused Park of rushing to enroll DDP in “every type of activity” in California to make the court believe she lived in the state.

He asked the court to toss the case.
