Jack Schlossberg has pointed thoughts about his cousin-in-law Cheryl Hines.
“I have never met Cheryl Hines, but if I did, I’d tell her she looks super dehydrated,” Schlossberg, 32, quipped via X on Wednesday, July 23.
Jack is the son of Caroline Kennedy and her husband, Edwin Schlossberg, making him the only grandson of late President John F. Kennedy. (JFK and wife Jackie Kennedy Onassis were parents to children Caroline and John F. Kennedy Jr.)
Hines, 59, has not addressed Jack’s claims. Us Weekly has reached out for comment.

Hines joined the Kennedy family in 2014 when she married Robert F. Kennedy. Robert, 71, is one of JFK’s nephews, and Jack has been openly critical of his distant cousin’s conservative political beliefs.
“I come from a big family, and the Kennedys are a big family. It feels natural,” Hines previously told ABC News in 2014. “When I met them, they were all very genuine and gracious. I was surprised. I didn’t know what to expect or who they are. They’re the most generous people I’ve ever met.”
Ten years later, Hines exclusively told Us Weekly that she still has “a lot of fun” with their blended family. (Hines and Robert each have children from previous marriages.)
“They’re fun. I mean, if I had a boring family, it would be tough, and I think just trying to embrace the unknown and instead of fighting against it, is sort of trying to embrace it and just say yes to whatever comes your way,” Hines told Us in October 2024. “Just to let it flow and to find the little moments and not take anything too seriously.”
Hines’ marriage raised eyebrows earlier in 2024 after Robert was accused of having an inappropriate personal relationship with a New York Magazine journalist. He vehemently denied the allegations, while Hines never addressed the claims.

That fall, the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum gave Us rare insight into her marriage to Robert amid the fallout from the scandal.
“There has to be a connection. There’s, like, a connection that you look at your husband or your partner and all the crazy going on around you, or you look and you check in and it’s like, ‘OK. It’s going to be OK. We’re going to move through this moment,’” Hines told Us at the time. “And, you know, a lot of times it’s funny and you can lean over and say, ‘This is crazy balls,’ and have a moment together and then hold your head up high and go to the next thing.”
Hines has also remained by Robert’s side when he became a politician.
“People have a lot of feelings about politics, especially in Hollywood, and I don’t know. I mean, so far I feel like it’s OK,” she told Us. “I’m OK to have conversations like that with people and, to me, it doesn’t define somebody. To some people it does and it’s like you can’t control it. There’s nothing I can do about it, so I have to let it wash over me.”
