An ed tech is accused of assaulting a 6-year-old Westbrook student.
Police got a report about a 6-year-old student who was allegedly assaulted by an educational technician at the Congin Elementary School in Westbrook on April 1.
The suspect, 62-year-old Dan Spring of Portland, turned himself into police Thursday.
Spring was arrested and charged with assault.
He was taken to the Cumberland County Jail in Portland and has since been released on bail.
