
A Sabattus man died Thursday after he crashed into a concrete retaining wall in Auburn.
Joshua Crowley, 48, was driving a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado on Mount Auburn Avenue about 6:52 a.m. when he left the road and hit the retaining wall, according to the Auburn Police Department.
The crash left Crowley trapped in the Chevy.
After he was freed from the wreckage, Crowley was taken to Central Maine Medical Center across the Androscoggin River in Lewiston, where he succumbed to his injuries, Auburn police said Friday morning.
The crash remains under investigation.
