Coldplay’s “Kiss Cam” drama has taken hold of the internet — and social media users aren’t letting it go.
For those who aren’t chronically online, let Us explain: Coldplay performed at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on Wednesday, July 16, when frontman Chris Martin seemingly caught two attendees in a scandalous moment. The concertgoers — who have since been identified as Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot — had their arms around each other but were quick to separate when called out on the big screen.
Byron dropped to the ground while Cabot turned around and hid her face with her hands, according to video footage of the moment.
“Whoa, look at these two. Alright, come on. You’re OK,” Martin said in the now-viral clip. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy. I’m not quite sure what to do.”
