Katie Gaudreau and her fiancé, Devin Joyce, are married.
Gaudreau and Joyce tied the knot on Friday, July 11, according to Instagram photos.
“The bride,” Katie’s sister-in-law Madeline Gaudreau wrote via her Instagram Story, sharing a pic of the bride’s strapless lace gown.
Katie’s wedding took place nearly one year after her older brothers, Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau, were struck and killed in a fatal biking accident. They were 31 and 21, respectively.

The ceremony was filled with emotional tributes to Johnny and Matt, starting with a family friend’s outfit. Jamie Hill wore a pair of black socks embroidered with “JG” and “MG” letters, also carrying a picture of the late brothers in his lapel pocket.
Katie and Joyce were initially due to get married in August 2024. The day before the planned ceremony, the late Columbus Blue Jackets hockey star and Matthew were hit by a car during a bike ride and killed on the scene. (Johnny and Matthew are survived by their parents, two sisters and their respective wives and children.)
Katie and Joyce subsequently rescheduled their nuptials, planning to honor her brothers when they finally walked down the aisle.
“I am making the most special video for our wedding featuring the boys and their best dance moves and I found these amazing videos in Kristen’s wedding video,” Katie wrote via Instagram in April, referring to her older sister. “I hope one day my future children have a bond exactly like us four. On the lookout for all videos anyone has of them busting it down on the dance floor, kitchen, country concerts, or them just being them.

Katie and Joyce have been together for nine years, navigating ups and downs along the way.

“Nine (official) years full of love and laughter, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have you by my side. This past year has tested us in ways we never could have imagined, but our love has always come out stronger,” Katie wrote via Instagram in March. “You’ve shown up in ways that mean more than I can put into words, and I know I wouldn’t have gotten through it without you.”
She added at the time, “Since high school, I’ve been waiting for the day I get to call you my husband … even though I call you my husband now. I can’t wait for July 11th to officially be your wife. No matter what life throws our way, I’ll always be up for singing off-key and dancing terribly with you — whether it’s in a bar or our little kitchen — forever and more.”
Katie further noted that grieving her brothers’ unexpected deaths taught her “to celebrate [their] love every day, every minute.”
