Jessica Biel opened up about how her approach to staying in shape has evolved as she gets older.
Biel, 43, took to TikTok on Thursday, July 10, to answer a fan question about her viral white dress ensemble on Prime Video’s The Better Sister. While thanking viewers for praising her toned look on the show, Biel broke down the work she has put into her fitness routine.
“I wanted to share that that shape in that show is not maintainable unless you are living the strictest and most rigid lifestyle with your nutrition and with your fitness, which I cannot do,” Biel noted. “I’m currently back on my plan to get a little bit back toward that shape.”
The actress recorded herself performing a series of exercises, which included dumbbell hip thrusts, Romanian deadlifts, hamstring curls, goblet step through lunges and more.

“My body is not 20 years old anymore. So I am adjusting my workout to what I need to do,” she explained.
This isn’t the first time Biel has offered advice about her wellness journey. After making a statement with her outfit at the 2024 Met Gala, Biel surprised her followers when she revealed how she bathed in 20 pounds of epsom salt to prepare for fashion’s biggest night.
“I know some people like to party before the Met Ball and party all weekend and all the things, and I have total respect for that,” Biel said in a May 2024 TikTok. “But this is what I do to get ready for the Met Ball.”

Biel, who rocked a bright pink floral Tamara Ralph gown in honor of that year’s theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” and the dress code of “The Garden of Time,” showed herself soaking in epsom salt for 30 minutes in hot water.
In the social media upload, Biel moved the camera to show fi individual bags of epsom salt, which she poured into her bathtub, adding, “With water as hot as you can take it, [have] a 30-minute soak the night before. [Then] drink tons of water, and off to bed early.”
Biel, who shares two kids with husband Justin Timberlake, didn’t specify at the time why she took the bath. Epsom salt, however, is known to ease stress, relax the body, help muscles and nerves function properly and eliminate toxins.
