Cruz Beckham caught a stray in Lena Dunham’s new Netflix series, Too Much.
On the second episode of the show, which was released Thursday, July, 10, Boss (Leo Reich) chats with Jessica (Megan Stalter) at the London ad agency where they both work.
“I’m making a playlist for my friend,” he says. “She just got dumped by Cruz Beckham, which is pretty much the lowest thing that’s ever happened to anyone.”
The episode was written by Dunham, 39, who cocreated the series with her husband, Luis Felber. All 10 episodes of Too Much are available to stream now on Netflix.

Too Much follows Jessica as she moves to England following a breakup with her boyfriend, Zev (Michael Zegen), and falls in love with indie musician Felix (Will Sharpe). Dunham plays Nora, Jessica’s older sister.
As for Beckham, 20, he’s been dating girlfriend Jackie Apostel since last year.
Beckham and Apostel, 29, were first linked in April 2024 and then attended the Glastonbury music festival together two months later.
The duo were front row at the Paris Fashion Week show for Cruz’s mother, Victoria Beckham, in September 2024. Cruz and Jackie sat alongside his father, David Beckham, his brother Brooklyn and his sister, Harper.
Jackie wore a Victoria Beckham dress for the big day and gushed about the show via Instagram after the fact.
“The most beautiful show and the most beautiful dress. 
Congratulations @victoriabeckham,” she wrote.
The couple appear to still be going strong, with Jackie commenting a series of heart-eyed emojis on a post Cruz made via Instagram on Friday, July 4.
As for the rest of the Beckham family, however, Cruz, his brother Romeo and their parents remain at odds with Brooklyn, 26.
Tension within the family reached a fever pitch in May, when Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, refused to attend David’s 50th birthday party due to friction with Romeo, 22, and his then-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull.
Since then, Brooklyn and Nicola, 30, have not spoken to the rest of the family. Cruz has publicly taken his brother Romeo’s side.

A source exclusively told Us Weekly in May that David and Victoria, 51, are hopeful about an eventual reconciliation.
“Friends and people around them see a long road to mending this,” the insider said. “But there is a desire to mend on David and Victoria’s part.”
Brooklyn extended a small olive branch on Thursday, July 10, wishing his sister Harper, 14, a happy birthday via Instagram.
“Happy birthday harper we love u x,” Brooklyn wrote, sharing a photo of the siblings and Nicola.
