There aren’t a lot of new shows to watch over the 4th of July weekend. Major streamers like HBO Max and Amazon Prime Video opted to stream higher-profile movies like Sinners and Heads of State instead of launching shows that are worth watching.
That’s not true with Netflix, which premiered its fantasy series The Sandman season 2 on July 2.
While not new this week, FX and Hulu’s comedy Adults debuted just as the summer began and is perfect to watch as you digest all those hot dogs.
