
The driver of a vehicle that crashed into a Lewiston home and killed a woman in May was arrested Wednesday.
Blaze Smalls, 25, of Lewiston has been charged with manslaughter and OUI, according to the Lewiston Sun Journal.
Small allegedly crashed a BMW into a single-family home on Webster Street around 4:15 a.m. on May 21.
A passenger, 28-year-old Natasha Thoits of Lewiston, died at the scene.
Smalls suffered minor injuries. A third passenger suffered injuries not considered life-threatening injuries and was taken to Central Maine Medical Center.
No one inside the home was hurt, according to police.
Police cited speed and impairment as factors in the crash.
Smalls is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail in Auburn on $10,000 bail.
