PITTSFIELD – Sebasticook Valley Federal Credit Union will host its 20th annual Ending Hunger Golf Tournament on Thursday, July 10 at 9 a.m. at JW Parks Golf Course (382 Hartland Ave., Pittsfield). All proceeds will benefit the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger, supporting local food banks and community meal programs.
“For two decades, our community has rallied on the green to fight hunger across Maine,” said Jim Lemieux, president of Sebasticook Valley FCU. “This year, we’re excited to welcome golfers of all skill levels to join us for a day of sport, camaraderie and giving back.”
Corporate sponsorships are available at a variety of levels for businesses wishing to support this cause, ranging from $150-$2,500. Participants must fill out and return the attached form by Thursday, July 3. Completed forms can be sent by email to Mindy Nyman, assistant vice president of member services at Sebasticook Valley FCU: [email protected]. Team spots are very limited (email to inquire).
Players should arrive for game day registration by 9 a.m. on July 10, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Following the game, all participants are invited to The Broken Putter — JW Parks’ on-site restaurant — for a steak-and-lobster dinner.
