Scott Wolf‘s estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, defended herself after being accused of setting a bad example for her children.
Kelley, 48, took to her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 29, to share some direct messages she has received from her social media followers.
“Please please please set a GOOD example for your kids! Your public behavior makes you look like a fool!” read a message, to which Kelley replied, “Maam…. Apologize. Wow. All I am doing is showing woman [sic] like you what a BAD example you set… for women like me. Do NOT message me again. Understand me.”
Kelley continued to clap back in the caption. “Let’s pray for this ‘Mary’ or is it ‘Karen.’ Ma’am?! Watch your mouth,” she added. “My kids wouldn’t be allowed to speak like this… ma’am!!!”

In other posts from her Instagram Story, Kelley, who shares kids Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11, with Scott, 57, elaborated on how she is publicly navigating their split.
“I have been separated since November 2024. I am a great mom. I’m old and bored and tired of being alone,” she wrote. “I was hot … but now I feel very lonely and scared and alone … lots of tears and wondering why so many things fall apart … do you all ever feel that way?”
Kelley continued: “I am a very strong woman and today was hard. I’m allowed to break. To feel. To want love. I am so lucky to know humans like this.”
Scott and Kelley got married in 2004 after several years of dating. Earlier this month, Scott filed for divorce.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” the actor said in a statement. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
Kelley released her own statement about the breakup, announcing the news “with a heavy heart.”
“This has been a long, quiet journey for me — rooted in hope, patience, and care for our children,” she wrote on June 10. “While I will not speak publicly about the details, I feel peace knowing that I’ve done everything I can to walk this path with integrity and compassion.”
Kelley referred to Scott as “one of the best fathers” she’s known.
“[He is] one of the best partners a woman could have the privilege of sharing life with. He is kind, thoughtful, funny, and beautiful in spirit,” she added. “We both look forward to an extraordinary life centered around the most extraordinary children. My priority has always been their well-being — and my own healing. That will never change. I am stepping into a chapter of peace, freedom, and protection — with grace.”

Days later, Us Weekly confirmed Kelley was detained by Utah authorities while she was doing an Instagram Live after making “concerning” comments about her and Scott’s relationship. She was hospitalized and released soon after.
Kelley, however, claimed that she was hospitalized against her will. Amid the drama, Us exclusively confirmed that a judge granted Scott a temporary restraining order on Wednesday, June 25, against Kelley. Scott was also awarded temporary sole physical and legal custody of their kids and granted sole and exclusive use and possession of their family home in Park City, Utah.
Kelley was ordered not to have any contact with Scott or parenting time with her children. A hearing was set for Tuesday, July 1, to determine whether Kelley will receive supervised time with her children and address any financial issues. The temporary restraining order will be in effect until July 9.
A source close to Kelley told Us, “It’s so sad for the kids, but Kelley is ready to fight like hell for her children. It is not warranted, it’s cruel. And it’s incorrect.”
Scott, for his part, has not addressed his decision to take legal action against Kelley.
