Kelley Wolf is sharing insight into her state of mind after estranged husband Scott Wolf filed a restraining order against her.
Kelley, 48, uploaded a number of inspirational quotes and positive messages via her Instagram Story on Sunday, June 29, thanking those who have reached out as her divorce from Scott, 57, made headlines.
“Your messages are ALWAYS so kind!!” she wrote alongside a screenshot of a text exchange. “People are amazing!! I’ve been saying this for 2 decades. Focus on the good in others and be kind. I CRY (a lot)… and I laugh (a lot) and I’m Soft and I’m tough(ish)… Like you.. we are but mere mortals. Mostly… I PRAY!

In subsequent Stories, Kelley reposted a quote about “overthinking” and an excerpt about “The Nomad Theory,” claiming she’s “moved 30 times” throughout her life so far.

Following the stream of uplifting posts — and an attempt at shooting her shot with “cowboys that speak French” — Kelley’s uploads shifted tone.
“I was hot… But now I feel very lonely and scared and alone… lots of tears and wondering why so many things fall apart… do yall ever feel that way?” she wrote.
The author went on to share a screenshot of another DM from a social media user encouraging her to “keep going” through all of life’s highs and lows.
“I’m a very strong woman… and today was HARD,” Kelley added to the screenshot. “I’m allowed to break. To feel. To want love… I am so lucky to know humans like this. You know who you are my friend… Man… I needed this tonight.”
Us Weekly confirmed earlier this month that Scott filed for divorce from Kelley after 21 years of marriage. The couple share three children: Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11.
Days after the pair’s split made headlines, Kelley took to Instagram with an audio clip of her appearing to argue with authorities after making “concerning” comments about her father and other individuals. Law enforcement later confirmed on June 13 that Kelley was admitted to a local hospital in Utah after being detained.
In a lengthy Instagram caption shared after her hospitalization, Kelley claimed she was “held against my will” by a “small but very vocal group” of friends who were “worried” about her.
“They called the cops from a beach town in Florida or somewhere seaside … while sipping cocktails. That’s not love. That’s control,” she said on June 19. “What happened was legal. But it wasn’t right. And it should never be that easy to weaponize concern — especially against women.”

Kelley also alleged that she had “been trying to file for divorce for months” after she “initiated a separation almost a year ago.” She told fans that she was “well into the healing” process and asked them not to “worry” about her.
“I’m good. I’m rested,” she wrote. “My kids are safe. And I’m finally free.”
As Kelley continued to share updates via social media, Us broke the news that Scott filed a temporary restraining order against his estranged wife on Tuesday, June 24. The actor filed a declaration, while another was filed by Michael Wolf. The court documents are sealed.
A source close to Kelley told Us at the time, “It’s so sad for the kids, but Kelley is ready to fight like hell for her children. It is not warranted, it’s cruel. And it’s incorrect.”
Scott has not publicly addressed his decision to file the restraining order.
