A Gray man is missing.
Maakele “Mike” Bekit, 79, was last seen at his Summit Road home around 12 a.m. Monday, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Moss described Bekit as a Black man who stands about 5-foot-8, weighs 120 pounds, and has gray hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing a tie-dye T-shirt, gray sweatpants and may have been wearing a gray fleece.
Moss said that Bekit has cognitive issues.
