Though the way people consume media is always changing, one thing has remained the same for the past decade — Rotten Tomatoes is a great way to get a sense of how critics and fans feel about a movie or TV show.

An extremely high Rotten Tomatoes ranking is certainly a good sign that a movie or show is of a high quality, although there’s no accounting for your personal taste.

Netflix carries several series on its platform that have achieved A grades — over 90 percent — on the review aggregator.

Watch With Us is shining a spotlight on three excellent TV series with a Rotten Tomatoes score of over 90 percent that you can watch on Netflix.

‘Stranger Things’ (2016-Present)

The global phenomenon that is Stranger Things is returning for its multi-part final season in November 2025. Since the show premiered in 2016, people have fallen in love with the sci-fi/horror show that serves up epic storytelling alongside a hefty dose of 1980s nostalgia. Stranger Things follows a group of best friends — Will (Noah Schnapp), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Mike (Finn Wolfhard) and Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin)— in Hawkins, Indiana. When Will goes missing, the rest of the boys discover the strange and powerful Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) who is connected to the mysterious alternate reality known as the “Upside Down.”

Throughout the previous four seasons, there have been some fluctuations in quality (people really don’t like that one episode where Eleven meets another child who’d been experimented on), but the show remains wildly popular. Stranger Things has a 92 percent ranking on Rotten Tomatoes.

‘Beef’ (2023-Present)

Originally conceived as a limited series, this intense comedic drama stars Ali Wong and Steven Yeun as two strangers who become obsessed with seeking revenge on each other after a road rage incident. Amy (Wong) and Danny (Yeun) go to increasingly dire (and even violent) lengths to ruin each other’s lives, and each step throws into sharp relief their dissatisfaction with their own circumstances.

Beef is biting, funny, shocking and deeply moving. It’s no wonder that it swept the Emmys in 2023, and that it’s being revived as an anthology series. (The second season will star Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan.) Beef has an incredible 98 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, which shows just how many critics loved it — and how good it is.

‘Avatar: The Last Airbender’ (2005-2008)

In case you thought that getting a perfect score was impossible, this Nickelodeon series has an unbelievable 100 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. While it’s primarily aimed at children and young adults, Avatar: The Last Airbender’s universal acclaim stems from its incredible character development, mature themes and stunning visuals, which can appeal to all ages. The series takes place in a world where certain people have the ability to “bend” one of the four elements — water, earth, fire and air — with martial arts-inspired techniques.

In every generation, one Avatar can bend all four elements, form the “bridge” between the human and spirit worlds and maintain peace and balance. 12-year-old Aang (Zach Tyler Eisen), the current Avatar and last survivor of his nation, the Air Nomads, must learn to master the four elements with the help of his friends Sokka (Jack DeSena), Katara (Mae Whitman) and Toph (Jessie Flower). Covering themes of inherited trauma, war, genocide and hope, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a beautiful, heart-wrenching and often inspiring show that deserves its perfect Tomatometer rating.
