Raw meat influencer Brian Johnson, a.k.a Liver King, is taking center stage in a new Netflix documentary.
Untold: The Liver King, which premieres on the streaming platform May 13, follows Johnson’s rise to fame and features interviews from the social media star and family members plus business partners.
“We had videos with hundreds of thousands of views,” Johnson recalled in the Netflix trailer, released on Tuesday, April 22. “That felt like a new level of invincibility. That kind of feeling is dangerous.”
Johnson, who captivated his over 6 million TikTok viewers with his diet of raw meat, which includes bull testicles, admitted in December 2022 that he was using steroids after previously denying it.
“I lied, and I misled a lot of people,” Johnson said in a YouTube video at the time. “Yes, I’ve done steroids and, yes, I’m on steroids.”

Johnson Lives By the 9 Ancestral Tenets
The influencer believes in the nine ancestral tenets: Sleep, eat, move, shield, connect, cold, sun, fight and bond.
“The key to unlocking a robust long life lies in our evolutionary past. Our DNA has evolved for over 2.5 million years and our bodies adapted in extreme conditions,” the Liver King website read. “The ways of our ancestors — the ways that Liver King has lived for the last 20 years — are better known as the 9 Ancestral Tenets.”

Johnson’s diet includes several variations of raw meat entrails, including bull testicles. In June 2023, Johnson shared an Instagram video of him consuming the food while smoking a cigar.

Johnson Is Married to Liver Queen
Johnson is married to Barbara, who goes by Liver Queen online. “20 Years of Love and Unyielding Bond,” he wrote via Instagram in August 2024. “There’s nothing like it … no comparison. For two decades, we’ve conquered the path of life together. Leaping lightyears ahead. Every challenge, every triumph has forged an unbreakable bond. From the highest peaks of our victories to the depths of our toughest trials, we’ve always emerged stronger, united, and more deadly.”

Johnson shared that the pair will “continue to blaze trails, shatter limits, and inspire others to embrace their true, primal selves,” adding, “Here’s to 20 more years of paradise. Together, there’s nothing we can’t conquer.”
Johnson Is a Father
Johnson is dad to sons Stryker and Rad, who goes by Liver Boy on socials. “My most important job as a father is to affirm my boys with the depth of challenge, worth, and potential, so that one day, they come to believe in themselves as self-made kings,” Johnson wrote via Instagram in June 2024. “It’s not enough to merely be present. Fathers need to be the guiding force that mold boys into resilient, capable men. A real father doesn’t coddle his sons. Hell no! He puts them through the f***ing crucible of life’s challenges.”
He continued, “It’s in the struggle that they find their strength. On this Father’s Day, remember our primal duty as fathers. Raise men who are not just sons, but warriors ready to conquer their battles and emerge victorious. Commit to the grind, the challenges, and the unwavering belief in our boys. When they stand on their own two feet, they’ll know they’re not just men but kings.”
Johnson Claims His Net Worth Is $310,000,000
Johnson claimed on his Liver King website that his net worth, which includes his assets — cash, real estate, equities, content — minus his financial debts, totals $310,000,000. While analyzing his self-worth, which he defined as assets minus debts, he said it’s priceless.
Johnson alleged that his annual income as of 2022 was $24,000,000. When it comes to giving his followers advice on getting “rich AF,” the influencer claimed that the first step is to eat liver.
“You can’t scale and lead yourself, your family, or your team without the currency of life: energy,” he wrote via his website. “It’s the engine that fuels us to take massive fucking action and never look back.”
Johnson Was Arrested After Threatening Joe Rogan
Johnson was arrested in June 2025, a day after posting a series of videos via his Instagram account in which he challenged podcaster Joe Rogan to a fight and threatened to “make [him] pay.”
The raw meat influencer was booked at Travis County Jail in Rogan’s home city of Austin, Texas, and charged with a misdemeanor count of making a terroristic threat.
“Detectives reviewed the posts and observed that Johnson was traveling to Austin while continuing to make threatening statements,” police said in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter. “Detectives contacted Mr. Rogan, who stated he had never had any interaction with Johnson and considered the posts to be threatening. Based on this information, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for Johnson on a charge of terroristic threat.”
