Kelley Wolf addressed her estranged husband Scott Wolf’s “best friend” Billy Bush reporting on her recent troubles.
“Billy, the last time I saw you was at the NAC, right? People were having a great time that night… lots of drinks going around,” Kelley, 48, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, June 21. “I remember you borrowing Scott’s pants — that was classic. And [Bush’s ex-wife, Sydney Davis]? She threw most of my baby showers. You know I’ve shown up for you so many times over the years I’ve lost count.”
Wolf seemingly took issue with Bush’s recent coverage of her hospitalization on his show Extra. Kelley alleged that she was forcibly detained by local Utah law enforcement officials earlier this month and subsequently taken to a hospital.
“I was handcuffed, bruised, and offered strong medications like lithium and Seroquel — against my will,” she alleged in an Instagram post on Friday, June 21. “Let that sink in.”

In her latest Instagram message, Kelley referred to Bush as “a true king,” before insisting that this “whole situation has become so bizarre.”
“I’ve decided to speak with People magazine,” she wrote. “It’s not something I take lightly, but I feel it’s time. I would’ve given you the exclusive, you know — because you’ve always said I was one of the best people you’ve ever known. I think deep down you still believe that.”
Kelley continued, “My memory isn’t what it used to be — everything’s been a bit foggy lately. Last week, I was temporarily placed in a facility — not by choice — and it was one of the most unsettling experiences of my life. They nearly gave me a medication I do not believe should be used lightly, or perhaps at all.”
The Real World: New Orleans alum argued that her story should be seen as a cautionary tale for women across the United States.
“We’re living in strange times — where rights, especially for women, feel like they’re being quietly rolled back under the guise of ‘care,’” she wrote to Bush. “I don’t know what the story is that’s being told right now, but I know the truth. And I trust that you, of all people, do too.”
She closed her initial note with a personal message to the Extra host, “Say hi to your kiddos! I miss them! After I was released from my involuntary hold, I went ahead and did a little staycation at our favorite hotel in Park city. I think you know it.”
In a second post addressed to Bush, President Donald Trump and several others, Kelley insisted that women’s mental health was being weaponized against them.
“When someone you love is in pain—talking about ending their life or saying things like ‘this whole thing is killing me’—your first move should not be calling the police,” she argued. “I’ve spoken to over 100 women recently who were put on 5150 involuntary psychiatric holds—not because they were unsafe, but because they were going through divorce, grief, trauma, or simply speaking truths that made others uncomfortable. Too often, these holds are used as legal weapons—not medical interventions.”
She went on, “Real suicide prevention isn’t about force. It’s about being with someone. In person. In love. In truth. … Bridges save lives. Kindness saves lives. Asking hard questions with an open heart saves lives. Coercion does not.”
Kelley also claimed she was the “only semi famous person” who “reached out” and “supported” Bush in 2016 when his private comments with Trump on the set of Access Hollywood were leaked. (Bush said he was “embarrassed and ashamed” to have participated in a 2005 conversation with Trump that critics slammed as sexist.)
Bush, 53, initially broke his silence on June 13 to defend Scott as “the kindest, sweetest person,” in addition to denying Kelley’s initial accusation that the actor was abusive.

“I can tell you this, there is zero truth to anything abusive by Scott,” Bush insisted via Instagram.
After revealing he’d spoken to Kelley since her detainment, Bush added, “Kelley is getting the help she needs. I talked to her myself one on one personally. She’s got excellent parents, they’re on it. She’s a beautiful person and so is Scott.”
Former Party of Five star Scott has only spoken out thus far to confirm that he filed for divorce from Kelley earlier this month.
“After 21 years of marriage, I have made the most difficult decision of my life, and filed for divorce from my wife Kelley,” Scott, 57, said in a statement on June 11. “Our children have always been, and continue to be, the loves of our lives and our every priority, so I kindly ask for privacy at this time as we help guide them through this new chapter.”
Us Weekly has reached out to Scott and Bush for comment on the latest developments. Scott previously posted via Instagram on Friday that he was taking his and Kelley’s three children – Jackson, 16, Miller, 12, and Lucy, 11 – on vacation.
