A motorcyclist died Saturday evening after colliding with a dump truck in Durham.
Coplin Fickett, 32, of Durham hit the truck after it exited the Jaiden Landscaping gravel pit on Hallowell Road, according to the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office.
The truck’s driver, Thomas Mosier, 24, was attempting to turn left when Fickett came around the curve and collided with the truck, the sheriff’s office said.
Mosier of Pownal was uninjured. The truck is owned by Moon Construction Services LLC.
The crash remains under investigation.
