A Windsor man allegedly set fire to a stolen truck earlier this month.
Ben Alan Manley, 27, has been charged with arson, aggravated criminal mischief and unauthorized use of property, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
Manley allegedly set fire to the truck on a Somerville property on June 2. That truck was reported stolen in Augusta.
The owners of the property where the burned truck was found weren’t connected to the theft or fire, Moss said Thursday.
Manley was arrested Wednesday at the Kennebec County Jail in Augusta, where he was being held on a probation violation.
No additional information was immediately available.
