A Maine lawmaker remains hospitalized after a car crash earlier this month.
Holly Eaton was driving on Route 15 in Sedgwick on June 2 when she crashed, according to the Midcoast Villager.
Eaton was taken to Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor, but flown to Maine Medical Center in Portland a few days later after she suffered a pulmonary embolism, the Villager reported.
Eaton, a Democrat who is serving her second term in the Maine House, represents District 15, which comprises Brooklin, Deer Isle, Frenchboro, Marshall Island, Southwest Harbor, Stonington, Swan’s Island, Tremont, Eagle Island Township, Isle au Haut and Vinalhaven.
