It wouldn’t be a Ginny & Georgia finale without a pregnancy reveal — but what other bombshells did season 3 end on?
During the season 3 finale, which premiered on Thursday, June 5, Georgia (Brianne Howey) was found innocent after Austin (Diesel La Torraca) falsely accused his father of being Tom’s murderer at Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) request. This reunited the Miller family but also changed Austin’s relationship with his sister moving forward.
Georgia, meanwhile, attempted to be a different version of herself after the experience. That meant making amends to people like estranged husband Paul (Scott Porter) and not jumping into a relationship with Joe (Raymond Ablack) — although it remained unclear whether she actually committed to that last one.
The new normal didn’t last long because at the end of the finale, Ginny realized Georgia was drinking cow’s milk. The significance? Georgia only craved milk when she was pregnant — and she slept with Paul and Joe so that’s a messy situation for season 4.

Ginny’s life was improving with her mother out of prison. But the choices Ginny had to make to get that to happen made her question whether she’s destined to repeat the cycle that Georgia started. Her romance with Marcus (Felix Mallard) also remained a giant question mark as his alcohol addiction got worse.

Georgia
Now that Georgia got out of prison, she found herself lost on what to do next. She started by making amends with people in her life in an attempt to prove she was a new version of herself. But after accepting a call from her biological father, Georgia was warned she couldn’t outrun her past. The end of the episode showed Georgia’s mother and stepfather driving by her house without her knowing.
While Georgia was doing better in her personal life with Joe (more on that later), her newfound fame as the Mayoress Murderess was an unexpected side effect of the trial.
Ginny
Her plan to get Georgia out of prison was successful but the season 3 finale centered around Ginny questioning if she was becoming her mother. While things were getting better for Ginny at school, her home life was an adjustment. Ginny’s relationship with Austin took a hit after she manipulated him (and Cynthia) into making Gil (Aaron Ashmore) take the fall for Tom’s murder.
Ginny was also in a better place with Georgia but she was afraid it wouldn’t last. Her final scenes showed Ginny realizing how bad Marcus’ drinking had become and then Ginny guessing that Georgia could be pregnant.
Austin
Despite seeing Georgia kill Tom, Austin lied on the stand to protect his mother. Having to point the finger at Gil, who he started to care about, fractured Austin’s relationship with Ginny. His final scene was him slamming the door in Ginny’s face before hugging a jersey given to him by his dad.
Marcus
The finale showed Marcus’ loved ones finally coming to terms with his dependency on alcohol. His twin, Max (Sara Waisglass), tried to tell her parents to get Marcus help but their mom, Ellen (Jennifer Robertson), initially didn’t want to uproot Marcus’ life any more.
He was then held back because of his failing grades and he snuck out to attend a party where he got blackout drunk. After breaking down in front of his family about how much he hated himself, Marcus was seen being driven to rehab by Ellen. His last scene was him reading Ginny’s point about his depression and how she believed he could get better if he made the effort.

Max
Season 3 ended on a rough note for Max. After being at odds with Marcus because she told their parents about his drinking, Max tried to make amends with her friends. Ginny pretended nothing was wrong while claiming her and Max grew apart. Abby (Katie Douglas), meanwhile, didn’t want to talk with Max about her evolving sexuality.
With Max apologizing to everyone while feeling left out of the loop, she ended the season all on her own.
Paul
The season 3 finale saw Paul at his lowest. His decision to divorce Georgia and support a bill that would allow big business to come into town made Paul the villain in the public’s eye. He was recalled and he fired Nick (Daniel Beirne). Paul also spilled the beans to Joe about Georgia claiming she was pregnant when she wasn’t and how they slept together — but more on that later.
Paul’s final scene was him blaming Georgia for all his problems. Georgia apologized for her mistakes but pointed out that the decisions Paul made weren’t all on her.
Joe
After spending the entire season (and series) lying to just about every person in her life about her past, Georgia surprised Joe — and Us — when she confessed just about everything to him. She told Joe she killed Tom, she killed Kenny and that most of what was dug up at her trial was true.
Georgia and Joe’s future remained unclear despite their interest in starting a relationship. Initially Joe didn’t jump into being a couple and then Georgia said she needed to stay single to prove to her kids she wasn’t going to continue her old patterns.
But now that Georgia is pregnant, her relationship with Joe will likely take center stage again.

Abby
With everyone else having relationship woes, Abby (Katie Douglass) is one of the few characters on the show with a thriving love life. She was dating Tris (Noah Lamanna) and was in a better place with her mother. Abby’s eating disorder seemed to still be an issue though and she ended up at odds with Max by the end of the season.
Norah
The future of MANG remained unclear after Norah (Chelsea Clark) also contributed to the issues between everyone and Max.
