Kristin Cavallari spilled all the tea on her new reality show — and none of her former Laguna Beach castmates were safe.
During the first episode of Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, which premiered on Wednesday, June 4, Cavallari, 38, was put on the hot seat about her friendships and feuds with Lauren Conrad and Lo Bosworth.
“If you had to spend the night in prison with Lauren Conrad or Lo Bosworth, who would you pick?” a question read during an on-stage drinking game with her Atlanta tour guest Kim Zolciak-Biermann.
Cavallari initially kept quiet as the crowd yelled different answers her way. “Should I just drink?” she asked before taking a shot and chasing it with orange juice. “Oh, my God, I hate you guys.”
Forty-five minutes later, the cameras captured a meet-and-greet moment between Cavallari and a few fans who nudged her to really answer the question. “So, is it Lauren or is it Lo?” the fan asked.
Cavallari didn’t skip a beat, responding, “I hate Lo more if you can believe it or not,” letting out a big laugh after she answered.
Cavallari butted heads with best friends Bosworth, 38, and Conrad, 39, during their time on Laguna Beach, which documented their high school years, and its spinoff The Hills, which ran from 2006 to 2010.

Cavallari, however, exclusively told Us Weekly on Wednesday that her remarks on her new E! reality show don’t hold much weight.
“I mean, I’m going to play that game. I’ll answer that question. You know what I mean?” the reality star explained, pointing out, “I think everyone sort of knows my history with Lo and the whole Birken bag drama, so I don’t think that’s any shock to people who really understand the history.”
Despite her podcast tour comments, Cavallari insisted, “I have zero beef with Lo. That doesn’t even cross my mind. You know what I mean? But I’ll play the game and answer the question for fun.”
Laguna Beach fans know that Conrad and Cavallari’s feud stemmed from liking schoolmate and castmate Stephen Colletti, whom Cavallari dated on and off in high school. Their love triangle was heavily documented on screen, but according to the costars, it was exaggerated for the cameras.
“I mean, I don’t think we were, like, best friends,” Conrad confessed during a November 2022 appearance on Cavallari and Colletti’s “Back to the Beach” podcast. “But we were like, ‘It’s fine.’”
Cavallari, for her part, said, “My take on it is, you and I never really had any beef. Really. I mean, obviously there was, like, a little truth to what happened with the three of us. But I felt like MTV coming kept it alive and made it way worse than it ever would have been.”

During episode 2 of Honestly Cavallari, which also aired on Wednesday, Cavallari noted that she knew how to play the game with Conrad for Laguna Beach from day one.
“I went [to the casting] and the questions were like, ‘Who do you think is going to be prom queen?’ I was like, ‘I don’t know and I don’t care as long as it’s not Lauren Conrad,’” she recalled. “I like beefed up all my answers. I knew what I was doing. So they knew, This is who we need. It’s wild honestly to think about.”
Cavallari’s issues with Bosworth, meanwhile, appeared to be partly because Bosworth was Conrad’s best friend growing up and partly because of their exchanges off camera during The Hills days.
“Lo has said some really nasty things about Kristin, and it got back to her,” a source exclusively told Us in May 2010, claiming, “She’s OK with most of the other girls, but she legitimately hates Lo.”
Six years later, Cavallari claimed that The Hills producers “bribed” her costars to say that she was doing drugs to spice up her story line when she joined the show in season 5. According to Cavallari, Bosworth asked for a Birkin bag to go along with it.

“She never ended up getting the Birkin. You need to get that s*** in writing!” Cavallari quipped during an exclusive interview with Us in May 2016. “It ended with all of the girls and I, our managers, agents, producers and lawyers in a room. I was told it wasn’t going to be a story line, and sure enough, it was on the first episode [of season 6].”
Bosworth, meanwhile, revealed in April 2024 that the friendships between The Hills women were compromised because of producers allegedly meddling in their lives. “We were very young women constantly put into compromised situations where we had to blood-sport it out against each other to get through a day of production,” she claimed during an appearance on the “Just B With Bethenny Frankel” podcast.
Looking back at her time on reality TV, the Love Wellness founder said she had a “very specific role” that didn’t get her into too much trouble. She also explained that the two shows were very different — as are the friendships among the casts.
“I think that everybody’s doing really well, everybody is really friendly,” Bosworth said of her Laguna Beach castmates, noting she and Lauren continue to be friends with most of their childhood classmates. “And Laguna’s a kind, nice version of reality TV, right? You get to The Hills and it’s, like, a much bigger impact from a drama and trauma perspective.”
