June is finally here, and Amazon Prime Video is celebrating by streaming one of summer’s most addictive shows. The Better Sister stars Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks as estranged siblings who are reunited by — what else? — murder.
It’s no surprise the series is already No. 1 on Amazon’s most popular movies and shows list — it’s just that good. Other notable entries include a Tom Cruise action movie, a Glen Powell legacy sequel and the hit college-set show, Overcompensating.

Earnhardt is a four-episode docuseries that chronicles the eventful life of Nascar icon Dale Earnhardt. From his humble upbringing in North Carolina to finding fame and fortune as a racecar driver in the 1980s and 1990s, the series examines the man behind the myth.
Diehard fans will appreciate the show’s accuracy and attention to detail, while those who don’t know much about Earnhardt will enjoy the series’ thorough and informative approach to the sports legend.
Jeremy Clarkson is best known for hosting the popular car show Top Gear, but he’s also famous for this documentary series about his efforts to operate a 1,000-acre farm in West Oxfordshire, England.
In season 4, Clarkson has to deal with numerous obstacles such as flooding, building permits and the unexpected birth of some piglets while still trying to make a profit from his farm. Will he succeed? And will he ever find a decent pub to relax in?
Motorheads is like The Fast and the Furious, except with fewer cars and more teenage angst. When Brooklyn-born twins Zac (Michael Cimino) and Caitlyn (Melissa Collazo) move back to their mother’s Pennsylvania hometown, they bond with their mechanic uncle Logan (Ryan Phillippe) while struggling to fit into small-town life.
But the siblings’ fascination with cars soon gets them into all sorts of trouble, and they’ll need to grow up pretty fast to solve their problems themselves.
Before there was a Final Reckoning, Tom Cruise and his team of agents faced a Dead Reckoning. The seventh installment in the popular Mission: Impossible franchise sees Cruise’s Ethan Hunt encounter a deadly new enemy: The Entity, an AI program that wants to take over the world.
That’s not going to happen with Ethan around, and he’ll crash cars, leap from building to building and jump around on a speeding train to stop it.
Shake those gin martinis and get out your ridiculously oversized hats because Another Simple Favor is finally streaming on Amazon. It’s no surprise that the movie is already popular on the streamer, as it delivers the same escapist thrills and “WTF” moments as the original.
Emily Nelson (Blake Lively) is out of jail and eager to mend her fractured friendship with Stephanie Somers (Anna Kendrick). She invites her ex-BFF to her wedding in sunny Capri, but is Emily sincere in wanting to reconcile with Stephanie, or is she merely plotting her revenge on the woman who put her in jail and ruined her life?
Beginning college is nerve-wracking for most teenagers, but Benny (Benito Skinner) is particularly anxious. He’s still in the closet and desperate to keep up the straight guy act when he pledges for a fraternity.
Things get complicated when Benny starts to fall for a fellow student, Miles (Rish Shah). Will Benny find the courage to be his authentic self while navigating the perils of freshman year? Overcompensating is a new Amazon Prime original series created by Skinner and also starring The White Lotus vet Adam DiMarco, Kyle MacLachlan, Kaia Gerber, Connie Britton and Charli XCX. All eight episodes are streaming now.
Twisters is the rare “requel” that’s arguably better than the original, 1996’s Twister. Both movies involved an unlikely couple chasing after the titular windstorms to overcome some unsettled personal trauma.
But Twisters trumps its predecessor by having two charismatic lead actors — Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones — generating some genuine chemistry amid the storm wreckage, and a director, Lee Isaac Chung, who is just as concerned with his characters as he is with his CGI natural disasters.
You can’t keep a good guy down. That’s never been more true with Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson), whose towering presence has intimated and delighted fans for three straight seasons.
In Reacher, Lee Child’s popular action hero has been battling bad guys with brawn and firearms. The recipe is simple, but it works — Reacher is one of streaming’s most popular shows right now.
Lucy Marks (Merritt Patterson) is a matchmaker who is good at her job but terrible at dating in real life. Things seem to change when she meets charming businessman Finn Grayson (Joshua Sasse), who instantly likes her.
But it gets complicated — and a tad awkward, let’s be honest — when Finn hires her for her love connection services. Can Lucy be professional and set Finn up with the best possible match, even if it’s not her?
