JoJo Siwa’s personal life has been a hot topic since she rose to fame on Dance Moms.
Siwa’s first-ever public relationship was with Mark Bontempo, which she hard-launched in August 2020. Months later, the former Dancing With the Stars contestant confirmed the pair had split.
“I am single as a Pringle right now. But Mark and I did break up. We were together for three months and it was great,” she told Entertainment Tonight in December 2020. “We had fun, we drove through Taco Bell, I think, 450 times. We had some really fun nights. We never actually had any hard times, we never fought, we never were mad at each other. It was honestly a great time.”
The next month, Siwa came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community. In February 2021, Siwa shared during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that she had “the most amazing, wonderful, perfect, most beautiful girlfriend in the whole world” at the time. Siwa kept her beau underwraps, but later revealed she was dating Kylie Prew. Us Weekly confirmed in October 2021 that the pair called it quits after less than one year of dating.

Mark Bontempo
Siwa and Bontempo dated for a few months in 2020.
Kylie Prew
Siwa and Prew became best friends after crossing paths on a cruise ship in December 2020 before becoming something more.
“We were just hanging out and then I was like, ‘Woah, this girl is fun,’” Siwa said during an interview with J-14 in April 2021. “I was like ‘You are insane, and I love you to death.’ So, I met my best friend last year on Christmas Eve, actually.”
Us confirmed in October 2021 that Siwa and Prew split after less than one year of dating. “We officially broke up the morning that I did the Prince Charming number on Dancing With the Stars,” Siwa exclusively told Us one month later. “It’s been a few weeks and it’s been tough, but we’re getting through it. … We’re going to go back to being friends.”
Katie Mills
Siwa and Mills were briefly linked in late 2021.
Avery Cyrus
Siwa and Cyrus began as friends making videos together for social media before launching their romance in September 2022. The next month, Cyrus officially asked Siwa to be her girlfriend while vacationing together in Orlando. Cyrus confirmed in December 2022 that she and Siwa went their separate ways, sharing in a TikTok comment that they were “better as friends.”
Dakayla Wilson
Siwa and Wilson took their relationship public in August 2024. The next month, Siwa gushed to Us that Wilson is “on board” with having kids at a young age.
“Obviously, we’re both very young and she’s even younger than I am — she’s just about to turn 19,” Siwa told Us in September 2024. “I always bring up the Freddie, Eddie and Teddie conversation right away in a relationship.”
In November 2024, a source confirmed to Us that Siwa and Wilson separated but “still care about one another and wish each other the best.”
Kath Ebbs
The twosome began dating in November 2024, months before Siwa appeared on Celebrity Big Brother UK. While on the reality TV show, Siwa was spotted being playfully touchy with housemate Chris Hughes — and ultimately broke up with Ebbs at the show’s wrap party in April 2025.
“I haven’t processed enough to, if you’d want to call it love bombing or whatever, but it seems to me I have experienced a version of that,” Ebbs claimed, adding that Siwa “realized in the house that I wasn’t the person they wanted to spend the foreseeable [future with].”
Siwa, for her part, was asked about Ebbs’ claims on the U.K.’s This Morning in April 2025. “I’ll be honest, that was not a plan,” she said. “That was not an intention, that was not supposed to happen like that. Initially, I was told that the wrap party was something [Kath] didn’t want to attend, and then about an hour into the wrap party, they decided they wanted to. And so I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before and … they straight up asked me if I was happy and I said, ‘No.’”
Chris Hughes
Siwa and Hughes sparked romance rumors during their time competing on Celebrity Big Brother UK in April 2025 after being shown cuddling on camera. Hughes came to Siwa’s defense in the house when she faced homophobic comments from costar Mickey Rourke. Siwa also admitted to Hughes that she identified as queer instead of as a lesbian.
In June 2025, Siwa confirmed her friendship with Hughes had turned romantic after he shared a Snapchat photo of himself kissing her on the head in bed. “It’s not platonic any more, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way,” Siwa shared in an interview with The Guardian.
She shut down speculation that her and Hughes’ relationship is a “PR stunt,” stating, “Clearly, you’ve never been around us. I won’t ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now. Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I’ve never [before] been in pain from smiling so much.”
