The woman known as “Mia,” who worked as a personal assistant for Sean “Diddy” Combs, continued her testimony about the mogul in court on Friday, May 30.
Mia, who is using a pseudonym to protect her privacy, claimed on Friday that she settled with Diddy, 55, for $400,000 when she quit working for him in 2017. She testified that she was told by executives to retain an attorney to negotiate back wages, bonuses and severance, but this allegedly enraged Diddy, whom she started working for in 2009.
According to Mia, Diddy said he felt like she “essentially stabbed him in the back” because she hired a lawyer. The attorney advised her to negotiate a settlement with Diddy because of the alleged abuse she faced while working for the rapper, and they ultimately settled for $400,000. After splitting that amount with her lawyers, Mia said she kept a little more than half of the money.
When asked by the prosecution whether she would give the money back if it meant she could erase the alleged abuse she experienced, she replied, “Absolutely. In a second.”

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and denied all the allegations against him.
Mia, whose real name is known to the jury and both parties, was referred to as “Victim-4” in the original indictment. She began her testimony on Thursday, May 29, and claimed that Diddy was violent with her multiple times throughout her employment, alleging he threw things at her on several occasions.
She further claimed she “wasn’t allowed” to leave Diddy’s side without his permission and couldn’t lock her bedroom door if she was staying with him. She told the jury that she once left his home after 2 a.m. while he was sleeping but later received a phone call from his security staff, who had allegedly been ordered to find her.
Later in Mia’s testimony, she alleged that Diddy raped her multiple times while she was in his employ. On the first occasion, Mia claimed she was sleeping in a separate room with the door unlocked, per an alleged house rule, when she woke up to find her then-boss on top of her.

“I just froze. I didn’t react,” Mia said, alleging Diddy forced himself on her. “It was very quick, but it felt like forever.”
During her testimony on Friday, Mia said she hasn’t worked since she quit her job with Diddy because of “severe, complex” post-traumatic stress disorder. “I would have to leave because I would be triggered by very normal situations [like] misinterpreting emails or someone asking, ‘Where are you?’” she explained. “All these feelings of getting in trouble would be flooding back. I always triple-guessed everything I did.”
When the defense cross-examined Mia on Friday, they showed the jury text messages she’d sent Diddy that indicated a loving relationship between them as well as social media posts she’d made praising her former boss. “The highs were high and the lows were low,” Mia said of the messages while speaking to defense attorney Brian Steel.
She also claimed that part of her job required “promoting” things that Diddy liked and said she “had to support the things that [Diddy] supported.”
