Karlie Kloss is giving rare insight into her marriage to Joshua Kushner.
The supermodel and entrepreneur, 32, has been married to Kushner, 39, since 2018 and is expecting their third child. The couple already shares sons Levi Joseph, 4, and Elijah Jude, 22 months.
“Josh, my husband, we’ve been together since I was 19. We’ve grown up together. He’s always been my biggest champion,” Kloss shared with businesswoman Emma Grede on the Tuesday, May 20, episode of Grede’s “Aspire” podcast.
In particular, Kloss credited her businessman husband with supporting her as she navigates her own career while raising their children.

“Especially in this adjustment into motherhood, he’s been somebody who’s like, ‘Karlie, you cannot lose yourself. You will not be happy and then our children will feel that,’” she said. “That’s something I so appreciate, that he has been my mirror in that way.”
Kloss also reflected on meeting Kushner soon after she moved to New York City and finding her future partner at such a young age.
“We started dating so young. I was 19. He was 25, 26,” she recalled. “He was very early in his career. I like to remind him that I was far more successful than he was for a very long time! I never met anyone like him before. He was such a kind man. I was still a girl, but I had lived this very adult, worldly life since I was 15. I had had my first apartment in New York, I’d traveled [to] New York, London, Tokyo, Paris, everywhere, while juggling my high school education.”
Kloss continued, “I had just moved to New York and I was really lucky to meet [him]. I never could have imagined I’d meet the love of my life at 19.”

The Kode With Klossy founder said, “Because we met so young, we’ve been through so much together that we’ve both really grown together.” She added, “I think that’s also part of why our partnership is so solid.”
In March, Kloss and Kushner revealed that they are expecting baby No. 3.

,” the model wrote via Instagram alongside a series of maternity photos.
The first snap in her pregnancy announcement, which was captured in black and white, featured Kloss holding one of her children.
In the photo, Kloss’ son had his face turned away from the camera and pointed to the horizon. Kloss, for her part, faced the camera and smiled sweetly. She donned a pair of jeans and a white button-up shirt. The top was unbuttoned to show off her bump.
