Millinocket Regional Hospital will be temporarily closing its walk-in care on Fridays.
That closure will begin May 30 and run through July 4, according to the hospital.
The move was prompted by “staffing challenges,” but the hospital said Friday it was “actively working to restore full service.”
People in the area should contact their primary care doctor about any medical needs. But if it’s an emergency, people can call 911 or go to Millinocket Regional Hospital’s emergency department.
