Kanye West has vowed to stop spreading antisemitism weeks after releasing a song titled “Heil Hitler.”

In a series of social media posts, the rapper, 47, gave thanks to God and said he would do his part to “share peace” with the world around him.

“I love all people,” he wrote via X on Thursday, May 22. “I am done with antisemitism. Share peace. GOD CALLS FOR PEACE. The earth itself is in God’s kingdom.”

West also seemingly asked for forgiveness for his past controversial remarks on social media.

“I forgive those who have caused me pain,” he wrote via X. “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused.”

While it’s unclear what led to West’s latest social media posting spree, the rapper said he recently got to chat with his children. (West shares North, 11 Saint, 9, Chicago, 7, and Psalm, 5, with ex-wife Kim Kardashian.)

“I simply got a FaceTime from my kids and I wanna save the world again,” he wrote via X. “Thank you God.”

While Kardashian, 44,  has not publicly commented on West’s latest posts, she has previously spoken out against hate speech. “I stand together with the Jewish community and call on the terrible violence and hateful rhetoric towards them to come to an immediate end,” she wrote via X in October 2022.

Earlier this month, West made headlines after he shared his latest song, “Heil Hitler,” along with its companion title, “WW3,” which similarly glorifies Adolf Hitler, the architect of the Holocaust and the killing of 6 million Jewish people.

According to NBC News, Spotify, SoundCloud and other tech platforms worked to remove the new song, but the track and its video spread quickly on platforms like X, where it racked up millions of views.

In February, West also sparked controversy when he shared a series of X posts that included antisemitic remarks, including a message praising Hitler. West’s X account was briefly deactivated and he was later dropped from his talent agency.

Many stars have spoken out against West’s remarks, with David Schwimmer, who identifies as Jewish, calling for the “Gold Digger” rapper to be removed from all social media platforms.

“We can’t stop a deranged bigot from spewing hate filled, ignorant bile… but we CAN stop giving him a megaphone, Mr. [Elon] Musk,” Schwimmer, 58, wrote via Instagram in February. “Kanye West has 32.7 million followers on your platform, X. That’s twice as many people than the number of Jews in existence. His sick hate speech results in REAL LIFE violence against Jews.”

The Friends actor added, “Silence is complicity.”

On Thursday, West seemingly released a new song with rapper YoungBoy Never Broke Again titled “Alive.”
