Housing for the homeless at a former Bangor inn is still not open months after the ribbon-cutting. The building, renamed Theresa’s Place, was supposed to open more than five months ago.

Houlton is locked out of its controversial $130,000 surveillance system. Following public backlash, the town deactivated the system and would now need to pay a hefty annual fee to restart it.
