Justin Bieber’s Rep Addresses Speculation He Was a Victim of Diddy

Justin Bieber’s rep has hosed down speculation that the singer was involved in any of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs’ alleged misconduct.

Bieber, 31, was at the center of unsubstantiated rumors that he may have been a victim of Diddy, 55, who is currently on trial for sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution charges.

His representatives denied the “As Long As You Love Me” singer was a victim, in a statement shared with Us Weekly on Thursday, May 15.

“Although Justin is not among Sean Combs’ victims, there are individuals who were genuinely harmed by him,” Bieber’s rep said in the statement. “Shifting focus away from this reality detracts from the justice these victims rightfully deserve.”

Bieber, who found fame as a teenager, crossed paths with Combs early in his career, which is where much of the unsubstantiated speculation stemmed from.

The singer appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live!  in 2011 alongside the music mogul, and said Combs had promised to buy him a Lamborghini but he had not received this gift.

“He knows better than to be talking about the things that he does with Big Brother Puff on national television,” Combs responded at the time.

Bieber and Combs also appeared together on the “Baby” singer’s YouTube channel in 2009.

The rapper told a teenager Bieber that he would show him how to “go buck full crazy.”

“Where we’re hanging out and what we’re doing, we can’t really disclose,” Combs said in the Vlog at the time. “But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”

Diddy was arrested in September 2024 and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and transportation to engage in prostitution. He pleaded not guilty to all charges and has denied all of the allegations against him.

“We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office,” Diddy’s attorney Marc Agnifilo said in a statement at the time.

The statement continued: “He is an imperfect person, but he is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”

Since his arrest, Diddy has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His four requests for bail were denied by Judge Arun Subramanian.
