I have had the privilege of knowing Sen. Susan Collins for decades, and I can say without hesitation that Maine is incredibly fortunate to have her representing us in the United States Senate.
Throughout her career, Collins has distinguished herself as a tireless advocate for the people of Maine. She doesn’t seek the spotlight; she seeks results. Whether it’s championing the Social Security Fairness Act to ensure retirees are treated equitably or standing up for our veterans to make sure they receive the benefits and care they’ve earned, Collins delivers.
I think her work ethic is unmatched, and her understanding of the needs of rural communities comes from listening to the people she serves. She brings Maine common sense to Washington and remains one of the few in Congress willing to work across the aisle to get things done.
Collins has never given up on Maine. Not once. In every corner of the state, her steady leadership is improving lives, strengthening our economy, and defending our values.
I’ve seen many come and go in public service, but Susan’s consistency, integrity, and effectiveness continue to stand out. She exemplifies what it means to serve with honor and purpose.
We are fortunate to have her fighting for us in Washington.
