Country music’s national nightmare is almost over because Reba McEntire revealed release plans for her next album.

“We’ve already recorded all the songs and the music,” McEntire, 70, confirmed during an exclusive interview with Us Weekly in Nashville while filming a series of sitcom-inspired ads for Realtor.com’s “Nearly Home” campaign. “Now our dilemma is, when do we release it?”

McEntire is excited to share the new content, adding, “We’re just as anxious to get it out as everybody who has been asking about it, which I’m thrilled to death about.”

Nearly two years since her last album release, the country music icon noted that “timing is everything.”

Reba McEntire Is Happier Than Ever: ‘What More Could I Ask For?’

“Everything happens for a reason,” McEntire added. “But we do have the music and we will be releasing it shortly.”

McEntire has been blessing Us with her music since the 1970s. Dubbed “the Queen of Country,” McEntire has scored numerous achievements including two Grammy Awards, six Country Music Association Awards and 12 Academy of Country Music Awards.

In addition to releasing 32 studio albums, McEntire found the time to branch out into acting with memorable projects such as her Reba sitcom, which served as inspiration for Realtor.com’s “Nearly Home” campaign.

“Isn’t that funny that I’m doing this commercial and I was a realtor on Reba?” McEntire quipped. “It’s really fitting and I walked into it perfectly.”

Returning to the days of being a fictional real estate agent felt seamless to McEntire, who told Us, “When [my friend] Dolly [Parton] was there [on an episode of the Reba sitcom with me], that makes it even more special doing this. It brings back memories with [Steve Howey‘s character] Van, who was my son-in-law. He was also my partner in our real estate business.”

‘Reba’ Cast: Where Are They Now?

McEntire was thrilled to get the chance to help make the home buying and selling process more accessible for people looking for their next house.

“What is so neat about Realtor.com is that you can just get on the app. They’ve got over a half a million new listings every month. I didn’t know about Realtor.com when I moved to Nashville,” she explained. “So in the last 10 years, I’ve had to look for a new home. I wished I’d have had it then.”

McEntire continued: “I love my realtor but I wish I’d have had Realtor.com because that way you could look at the listings and really dive into it.”

McEntire went on to share what makes a house a home for her, saying, “A view with the backyard [being] close to activities you like and if I’d had children, the Realtor.com app would show how far it is to each school and places of interest. The app gives everything. It’s really interesting.”
