Old Town firefighters doused a stubborn fire at Bryant Storage on Sunset Drive on Friday night.
Crews were already en route before the station’s alarms sounded after receiving a report of an explosion, according to a Facebook post from the department.
They quickly extinguished the fire, which appeared to have been caused by a vehicle inside a garage bay.
But around 9:30 p.m., firefighters were called back after the blaze rekindled.
A spokesperson for the fire department said a few hot spots flared up in the same garage bay. Crews contained the fire to that area and cleared the scene shortly after midnight.
Several area departments assisted at the scene.
