What’s New on Paramount+ in May 2025

Criminal Minds: Evolution made a seamless transition from network to streaming in 2022, and the hit crime procedural is coming back for another season on Paramount+ in May.

This season, Matthew Gray Gubler – one of the few original cast members who didn’t initially return for the revival series – will reprise his role as Spencer Reid for at least one episode. And if the show is renewed for its 19th season overall, then perhaps he could be back again next season as well.

For sports fans, soccer icon David Beckham is launching his own sports talk show, Beckham & Friends, on May 6. Not every sports star is cut out to make the leap to broadcasting, so we’ll see if Beckham has what it takes to conquer another medium.

Unfortunately, you’ll need to subscribe to Paramount+ with Showtime to watch The Chi season 7 and Couples Therapy season 4. Even the critically acclaimed Hard Truths and a handful of other films are exclusive to Paramount+ with Showtime. Movies and TV shows marked with a star are exclusive to that upper tier.
