
Saturday may be the warmest day of the year so far in Maine, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s and low 70s, according to the National Weather Service in Caribou.
Early showers on Saturday were expected to clear by late morning in central Maine and mid-to-late afternoon in northern areas. Cloud cover and gusty winds will follow.
Sunday will be windy, with gusts of 40 to 50 mph from the northwest. The high temperature will be around 50 degrees, dipping into the mid-30s Sunday night.
Monday is expected to be sunny and less windy, with a high near 58.
