John Mulaney was vocal about not wanting to have kids before welcoming his first child with Olivia Munn.
However, when Mulaney confirmed that Munn was pregnant in September 2021, he revealed how important becoming a father was to him.
“In the spring I went to Los Angeles and met and started to date a wonderful woman named Olivia,” Mulaney shared on Late Night With Seth Meyers at the time. “And we’re having a baby together. I was nervous when I was about to say the news! Olivia and this baby have helped save me from myself in this early journey out of recovery [from my drug addiction].”
Mulaney, who got sober in 2020 following a relapse, welcomed son Malcolm Hiệp with Munn in November 2021. The couple quietly tied the knot in summer 2024 before revealing that September that their daughter, Méi June, was born via surrogate.
