The Brown family drama over their Flagstaff, Arizona, property has officially come to an end.

Sister Wives stars Kody Brown, Robyn Brown, Meri Brown and Janelle Brown have each sold their shares of their 14-acre property, known as Coyote Pass, multiple outlets have reported. The land, originally purchased in 2018, was reportedly sold for $1.5 million, creating a profit of $680,000 for the group.

Half of the property was owned by Kody, 56, and Robyn, 46, while Meri, 54, and Janelle, 55, each owned 25 percent of the land. According to In Touch, parts of the property in Kody and Robyn’s names were sold for $305,000 earlier this month, while 2.4-acre plots owned by Meri and Janelle sold for the same price. The final portions of the land, sizing at 4.48 and 5.19 acres, sold for $400,000 and $490,000, respectively.

Christine Brown previously sold her share of the land to Kody and Robyn for $10 in 2022. The sale came not long after Christine, 52, and Kody’s 2021 split. Christine has since married David Woolley in 2023. (Kody remains legally married to Robyn but has since parted ways with both Meri and Janelle.)

The Coyote Pass property was originally purchased with the intent to build homes for Kody, his partners and their children. Building plans have been delayed for several reasons over the years, from the COVID-19 pandemic to Kody’s splits with three of his former wives.

During a September 2024 episode of Sister Wives, Janelle expressed her desire to sell her portion of Coyote Pass in hopes of moving to Montana. “If Kody’s not willing to buy me out … I’m going to have to do something with it,” she told Christine on the TLC series.

At the time, Janelle noted that “what changed my mind [about the Arizona land] was when I went with Maddie to look in Montana and I’m like, ‘Oh, I could have this somewhere else,’” (Maddie, 29, is the second-eldest of her and Kody’s six children.)

Kody later confessed that he considered “screwing” over Janelle in their Coyote Pass land dispute during a November 2024 episode of the show. “OK, so I’m being honest, but I won’t,” he clarified before joking, “My wife [Robyn] with a conscience won’t let me.”

Earlier this year, Meri alleged on the show that Kody never intended to give her an equal share of Coyote Pass. “He’s like, ‘Well, you don’t need as much because you don’t have as many kids,’” she stated during the show’s January 19 episode. (She and Kody only share one child, Leon, 29.)

In another January episode, Robyn remarked that it was “hard” to think about letting go of their Coyote Pass property, while Kody noted that he and his wife weren’t “synced up” about what to do with the land.

“We’re in different places and it’s an in and out,” he said on the show. “It’s like sometimes I want to keep it, sometimes I want to sell it. And Robyn knows we need to sell it but sometimes wants to keep it.”

During the January 26 episode, Robyn said she felt sad whenever she would visit the property. “I [just] see the vision that I’ve always imagined, you know, all of the space and the houses,” she stated. “It’s just been so difficult and so sad with the family. I know everybody just wants out of the pain.”
