
Police are investigating a woman’s death in Hartland.
The investigation began Saturday after a death at a Canaan Road home, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The woman’s body was taken to the Maine medical examiner’s office in Augusta, where an autopsy was performed Monday, Moss said Tuesday afternoon.
The results of the autopsy are pending, and Moss said the woman’s identity is not being released, pending family notification.
Her death remains under investigation.
There is no threat to the public.
