Gigi Hadid continues to be supportive of her former stepfather, David Foster, and his latest musical achievements.
“NYC. Boop has landed and she’s major,” Hadid, 29, wrote via Instagram Stories on Saturday, April 5, sharing a photo of star Jasmine Amy Rogers’ opening night curtain call. “Music by @davidfoster!!”
She continued, “Congratulations to all.”
Boop!, which officially opened on New York City’s Great White Way on Saturday, is based on the iconic comic character Betty Boop. Foster, 75, composed the music for the Broadway musical alongside Bob Martin and Susan Birkenhead.

Foster also attended the Saturday debut, walking the red carpet with wife Katherine McPhee Foster and his daughters Amy, Sara and Erin Foster. (The family affair was rounded out by Erin’s husband, Simon Tikhman, and Sara’s two daughters with ex Tommy Haas.)

David is a father of six. He shares Amy with B.J. Cook, Allison with an unknown partner, plus Sara, Erin and Jordan with Rebecca Dyer. The acclaimed composer and McPhee Foster, 41, welcomed son Rennie in 2021.
Before David tied the knot with the American Idol alum in 2019, he was also previously married to Linda Thompson from 1991 to 2005 and Yolanda Hadid from 2011 to 2017. During David and Yolanda’s marriage, he became stepfather to her three children: Gigi, Bella and Anwar. (Yolanda, 61, shares her children with ex Mohamed Hadid.)
Despite their divorce, the once-blended family still remains on amicable terms.

“Gigi and I stay in touch. We stay in touch. I don’t know, I message with her,” Sara, 44, said on an October 2024 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, noting it had “been a minute” since she saw Yolanda. “But I’d be happy to run into her. Yeah, absolutely.”
One month earlier, Erin revealed on WWHL that she was also in touch with Gigi.
“Gigi actually just DM’d me last night saying she was starting to watch [Nobody Wants This],” Erin quipped of her hit Netflix series. “The kids don’t get divorced — just the parents do.”
Erin previously revealed that she and Sara had a difficult relationship with David growing up.
“We never lived with our dad after our parents broke up,” Erin said on the “Sibling Revelry” podcast in 2019. “So, from the ages of 3 and 5, we were living with our mom, and our dad was living in this $20 million house with Brandon and Brody [Jenner, Thompson’s two sons with ex Caitlyn Jenner]. It had the trolley, it had the pool and this thing.”
