After controversially exiting Saturday Night Live early to return to “God’s country,” Morgan Wallen extended his viral quote to a new range of merchandise.
The country music singer, 31, revealed via Instagram on Tuesday, April 2, that he is now selling hats and t-shirts inscribed with “Get Me to God’s country,” via his official website.
Sharing an Instagram post from “Club Wallen,” an “official fan destination for all things Morgan Wallen,” that read, “Get me to God’s country 
shop.morganwallen.com,” Wallen seemingly referenced the Instagram Story post he shared following his Saturday, March 29, musical guest appearance on SNL.
The “Smile” singer raised eyebrows when he seemingly exited the stage abruptly, walking and past cameras before the show’s end credits fully rolled. (Hosts and musical guests usually remain on stage during the credits to chat with the cast.)

The Story, which also featured a photo of a private jet, indicated that he was preparing to leave New York City for Tennessee. (Wallen lives in Nashville and grew up in Sneedville, Tennessee.)
Wallen’s new merchandise spans two blue and white colored hats, while a plain white t-shirt also sports the musician’s now-signature catch-cry.
Wallen’s controversial appearance on the late-night sketch show stemmed beyond his early exit. Variety reported earlier on Tuesday that he allegedly declined to be in a musical sketch titled “Big Dumb Line” during Saturday’s show, which was hosted by Mikey Madison.
The skit featured Madison, 26, Chloe Fineman and Bowen Yang singing about the New York City trend of waiting in line for hours. Variety reported that the Euro pop song’s bridge was written for Wallen to sing, but Joe Jonas ultimately filled the role.

Wallen boasts a chequered past with SNL that spans back to October 2020 when he was disinvited to perform on the show after video footage of Wallen partying at the University of Alabama during the COVID-19 pandemic surfaced.
“Im in New York City, in a hotel room. I was getting ready for SNL this Saturday, and I got a call from the show letting me know that I will no longer be able to play,” Wallen shared via an Instagram video at the time. “And that’s because of COVID protocols, which I understand. I’m not positive for COVID, but my actions this past weekend were pretty short-sighted and that have obviously affected my long-term goals and my dreams.”
Just months after his cancelled appearance, Wallen made his SNL debut — however, his initial disinvitation was referenced.
“I am you from the future and I came here to stop you from partying tonight,” Jason Bateman’s character told Wallen in a skit. “Trust me, somebody’s gonna post a video of you ignoring COVID protocols, the whole internet’s gonna freak out. … Once people hear about the party, you’re in big trouble, man. You’re gonna get kicked off Saturday Night Live.”
In February 2021, Wallen served as the butt of a Weekend Update joke after a video surfaced that showed him using the N-word. In the segment, cohost Michael Che explained the story, noting that Wallen’s record label had suspended his contract.
Wallen subsequently apologized for the racial slur via a YouTube video shared later that month. “I let so many people down,” he told fans. “I let my parents down, and they’re the furthest thing from … the person in that video. I let my son down, and I’m not OK with that.”
