BANGOR — Maine Savings Federal Credit Union is excited to announce the grand opening of its newest branch, conveniently located at 878 Stillwater Ave. in Bangor, near the entrance to Walmart. The branch officially opened its doors to members on March 17, expanding Maine Savings’ commitment to providing accessible, personalized financial services to the Greater Bangor community.

To celebrate this milestone, Maine Savings will host a week-long grand opening celebration beginning April 14, culminating in a special drawing on April 18. Members who visit the Stillwater Avenue branch leading up to April 18 will have the chance to enter to win prizes, including:

  • A pair of tickets to see Luke Bryan live at the Maine Savings Amphitheater
  • An RTIC 45 Qt cooler with two camp chairs
  • A pair of Apple AirPods Pro 2s

Additionally, special deposit and loan offers will be unveiled during the celebration, providing even more value to both new and existing members.

“This new location reflects our ongoing commitment to making banking more convenient and accessible for our members,” said David Sayers, chief strategy officer at Maine Savings. “We are proud to expand our footprint in Bangor and look forward to building lasting relationships with those who live and work in this vibrant community.”

The Stillwater Avenue branch offers a full suite of financial services, including personal and business banking, consumer loans, mortgage services and financial education resources. The design prioritizes ease of access and a welcoming environment, consistent with Maine Savings’ mission to go Beyond Banking.

“This branch is more than just a new location—it reflects the high level of service and care our members count on,” added Jeffrey Charland, chief experience officer. “We’re excited to bring our personalized approach to banking to even more people here in Bangor.”

Vanessa Madore, president and CEO, emphasized the broader significance of the opening: “Our growth is always driven by the needs of our members and the communities we serve. This new branch at Stillwater Avenue strengthens our ability to help members find their path to financial well-being.”
