Tracker finally revealed why Eric Graise has been absent for six episodes in a row — but is Bobby coming back?
During the Sunday, March 30, episode of the hit CBS series, Colter (Justin Hartley) asked Randy (Chris Lee) if he heard from his cousin Bobby. Randy confirmed that he didn’t before offering an update, saying, “You know how he gets. He doesn’t like to talk about personal stuff.”
Colter mentioned that Bobby was going to his “friend’s funeral,” to which Randy replied, “I know that is hitting him hard. They were like brothers.” While Colter “sent him a few texts,” he understood that he hadn’t “heard anything back” because Bobby “was just taking some time” for himself.
“He will get back to it — and if he doesn’t then I will make sure he does,” Randy added. “No way out but through.”

Despite the subtle insight into Bobby’s well-being, it remained unclear when Bobby would be ready to return to work. He’ll likely be back soon, though, since Colter finally brought the hacker up after five episodes went by without a reference to Bobby’s obvious absence.
Graise, 35, has been missing from the show since a February episode introduced Lee, 30, as Randy, who has helped Colter on his cases. At the time, Randy said Bobby was temporarily not around due to “family” issues and his prolonged absence ultimately became cause for concern after Robin Weigert exited the show ahead of season 2.
Weigert’s character, Teddi, was written off in the premiere with her wife, Velma (Abby McEnany), admitting that they needed some distance. Velma has since been working with Reenie (Fiona Rene) and Teddi hasn’t been discussed despite her prominent presence in the show’s first season.
“[Teddi] is going to be there for a while. She is helping her mom get sorted. I was getting in the way you might say and it really wasn’t good,” Velma said at the beginning of season 2. “So I came back. Don’t you worry because I am keeping busy.”
After viewers questioned Graise’s absence, his costar Rene, 36, hinted that he would come back before the end of season 2. Rene was also asked by TV Insider earlier this month about any upcoming guest stars she was excited for fans to see.

“I mean, can we just talk about Randy for a second? I love Chris Lee with everything in my body,” she shared. “He’s been such a wonderful addition to the Bobby dynamic, and I am very excited to see them together.”
Tracker follows survivalist Colter as he travels the country to help find missing people, track down information on criminal cases and more. After becoming a hit for CBS, the show continued its success with the season 2 premiere in October 2024 bringing in 8.3 million total viewers, nearly a 10 percent increase in viewership from the season 1 finale. The season 2 premiere also marked the show’s highest audience since the series debuted after the Super Bowl in February 2024.
The CBS series was named the most-watched broadcast premiere since NCIS‘ final episode with Mark Harmon in September 2021. Its average viewership is 18.2 million per episode, according to their Paramount+ and broadcast measurements. Variety‘s annual list of the year’s 100 most-watched primetime telecasts had Tracker episodes in 15 spots.
