An Etna man found dead in his home Friday morning died of multiple stab wounds, according to the state medical examiner’s office.
The office said Saturday that Luke Norris, 41, died of “multiple sharp force injuries” and ruled his death a homicide.
Police responded to 372 Old Country Road around 6:40 a.m. Friday and found Norris deceased.
His girlfriend, Heidi Tasker, 36, was arrested at the home they shared and charged with murder. She is currently being held without bail at the Penobscot County Jail and is expected to make her first court appearance Monday.
In 2011, Tasker was sentenced to 11 months on a reckless conduct charge and 10 years on a manslaughter charge in connection with a rollover crash that killed her boyfriend, 19-year-old Kale Page. All but nine months of the manslaughter sentence was suspended.
